I appreciate your feedback. They are meant to educate our neighbors about the positive contributions of African Americans to American history and foster dialog about that subject matter. It was my hope and desire that the more we know about each other as different ethic groups the more it will build stronger community relations. Too many times all you see on the news is negative images of Black people doing negative things.
I will admit I got a little carried away with the historical bio's but I was somewhat disapointed at the lack of media coverage of Black History month Feb 2008. This was my little attempt to shade more light on positive African Americans.
In the future my postings will reflect more neigborhood concerns and concentration. Again thank you for the time you gave me and I will take it as the positive criticism and move forward. Again as always I will end...
