Just an FYI - the window of our truck was broken out one night last week. Nothing was taken, but glass was everywhere and what a hassle! It happened sometime during the middle of the night. I think this may have also happened to someone on Colonial near Mockingbird last night, because I saw them standing outside near their van with the police this morning.

just following up on your message. glad nothing was taken from your vehicle. checked our area crime mapper on police site, there was a theft from mv reported on 3/13 in 1200 block colonial. in past month, 25 vehicle larcenies in our area. please lets all keep a watch out for this. also, file report with the police, even if nothing stolen, will alert them to put heavier watch on our area.

Burglaries

Has anyone heard anything about burglaries? I missed it, but someone told me they saw a burglary in the 4800 block of Hummingbird listed in the paper. That's where I live, so I was curious, as I haven't been able to find a neighbor who knows anything about it. Thanks, Larry

2 burglaries in 4900 block 1 on 3/6 another on 3/14. to check crime in your area go to our home page, click on police/safety, look on left side menu, click on crime mapper, you can search from there, think it goes back around 30 days.
