I'm game for a get-together!
Let me know if I can help. Little things can really make a difference. A couple of my neighbors have my cell in case somethings up or even if it's something like the dogs got out of the fence, so I can come home and round them up before they get hurt or so some other neighbor complains. Every little bit helps!

Me too, let's make this happen
I, too, live on Georgetown and think it's a great idea to have a little block party. I've been in this neighborhood for 3 years now and really only know 1 neighbor. Everyone seems to keep to themselves. I know there have been new folks move in who feel the same way, I'm sure.
I've got a pretty busy schedule, but would be happy to help knock on a few doors and get the word out. Just shoot me an email.

Georgetown Night Out
I would be happy to get a few folks together and head this up; with a lot of help. I too, like Chris, have a busy schedule some weeks, but this is worth our efforts. I live at 1316 and do know my neighbors 2 doors to the left and 1 to the right. I'm pretty sure that they and the neighbors that they are familiar with, would participate. We need to start with attempting contact with all addresses on Georgetown, as well as, the connecting streets. We could do this either by door to door one on one contact, or leaving a note on their door or mailbox, e-mail and use of the Neighborhood Directory. Next, determining a date that works with most folks which would best be found by asking for feedback. My only problem is that I'm gone October 7th - 14th but otherwise would be happy to help. All thoughts are welcomed!

Let's Get Together!!!
I am all for getting to know my neighbors. I know my immediate neighbors to my left but new neighbors have moved in to my right and I don't even know their name. I tried to meet them shortly after they moved in but our schedules never meshed. I think it would be nice to know a little about the other neighbors around me. I am a student and also work full time so my schedule is packed but I will help in any way and will try to make my schedule work to what ever is easiest for everyone.
