Several residents in District 8 and myself are forming a group to beautify the median of Garland Road between Buckingham and North Garland Avenue. This process would fall under the Neighborhood Vitality Grant program funded by the city. This is on the edge of our Coomer Creek Community and would also include some improvements to the lancscaping at the entrance to Cooner Creek park. Garland Rd vitality grant

This location is outside of the area that the city benchmarked for us. The match money will need to be raised to meet the vitality grant criteria and there are some assocations that front the site described. You may want to contact those mandatory HOA's in the area as they have much larger funding
