Richard:

As always, your comments are right ''on the money'' (my sentiments exactly)

Sadly, all of us ''fell'' for the facade of the ''guard house'' when we decided to purchase a house in this community.

Maybe a sign reading ''BEWARE-for mere decoration purposes only'' should be posted at the ''guard house''. This should be considered a PUBLIC SERVICE announcement in benefit of all prospective NEW buyers ;-)

What do you think?

Are you employed by ProComm?

SR Resident:

Are you employed by ProComm? Judging from your comments, it seems the previous posting ''struck a nerve''.

Or, could it be that you are exceptionally lucky living in ''fantasy land''?

i call 'em like i see 'em. it if smells like sh**, i'll be the first to tell you human or hoofed.

the guard station could still be occupied by a guard, depending on the intestinal fortitude of the board of directors. remember the composition is still developer biased. it sure serves as a good lure, nice and shiny-like.

on the other hand, the costs of *maintaining* all the gates seem to be impractical at best considering the position pro-comm mgmt/board of directors take on insisting to keep them functioning, after all, they are not meant to be a security feature.

like i've mentioned before elswhere, i'm sure mr tompkins and ms covarrubias could be doing other important things
instead of dealing with the gate/fence probs that do come up. why not divert the money intended for gate/fence maintenance to street lights and whatnot if the gates/fence/guard station were no more?
