Ok, I have a question. I know we have to put our trash outside our garage, so do I put it on the right of my garage when I look out of my garage?

Yes, we're supposed to put trash on the right side or our garage. The board uses this rule to identify the unit that left trash out too early in order to post a violation notice on their garage.

Unfortunately, this rule is not being followed by everyone and it is very hard to enforce. There is no good solution to this so you will always see someone putting trash out too early. You will always see a violation notice on a garage, sometimes on the one that did not even commit the violation. That's why you don't see trash violation sent by letters unless there are witnesses.

The violator of course would also see that notice posted on the garage. It's a reminder that we should value our property and keep it nice. Our porter would have a hard time gathering scattered trash that was dug out by animals overnight. Good question John.

yeah, my neighbors wouldn't believe me on the trash issue. I was leaving for school tuesday morning and they popped up, told me not to put the trash on the right, but on the left. I told her it's suppose to be on the right(while looking outward), and they didn't believe me. O well. I was wondering what happened on the street light issue? BTW, we need more people on this forum.
