Panhandlers that have been working OVERTIME on the ramps of Beach & 30 and Oakland & 30. The ones that are making a joke of us all. Please put a stop to this as well. I called in on May 12th, Oakland (officer said he was given a citation). May 21st, Beach (unknown action). May 23rd, Oakland (warned). May 24th, Beach (warned) & May 25th, Oakland (warned)and 2 hours later back on Oakland. And today were on Beach and didn't even have the energy to deal with it. This is a prime example of repeat offending. They believe it is OK because nothing has happened yet after 5 warnings. Our laws and their enforcement are being made a joke of. I told Eddie he needs to get his sign made up and get out there because it is obvious that he could be making some money. The day he would decide to start panhandling the police department would probably decide to make that the day to start doing what we have been asking to have done. Arrest or issue citations for all criminal behaviors.
