We have lived here 3 yrs.Last month a pipe in our wall near our water heater was leaking.We had a plumber out he said it was caused by a poor welding job.We contacted k/b they said there was only a 1 yr warranty.We also contacted the plumbing company hired by k/b they said the same thing.I think they should be responsible for there work if not done corectly.Thank god for insurance. our cost was about 1900.Thats not including all the time off from work we had to take to get people out here to clean up our carpet and walls. Has anyone else had problems with there plumbing?

Heard of it......

We've been here 3 years as well, and can't say we've had a problem YET, I know there is a house on my street that the pipes burst. Well, the people got it fixed or whatever, then sold it. A family bought it and moved out a few months later and put a big sign in the front window that said, ''Sold to the Mold''. So apparantly your not the only one with cheap pipes! Your right, you should't have to pay for faulty work.

Mine was outside

I had a leak in the incoming line. Had it checked an repaired by plumber and he said it was caused by poor workmanship and insufficient glue. I guess that is the price we pay for $55/sq ft homes...
