We have many islands in our neighborhood that are unique. Should we work to make them more than grass and weeds? Should we plan with xeriscape flower that will be low maintenance?

We are starting a treee planting program. Lets's work on the islands.

We should plan for what we want to do in the fall during the summer. Plants, seeds and preparation can be planned ahead so when the time to plant comes we'll be ready. At least we should reseed the islands with wild flowers.
