The Kling Center provides activities and social services to help older adults maintain an active, healthy and independent lifestyle.

This past year we participated in or held the following events:

Participated in Operation Brightside Cleanup

Won Brightside Neighborhood Naturescape Award

We were the site for Mayor Abramson’s press conference 5/8/07 announcing The “Keep Louisville Safe” program with the Louisville Metro Police Department

Held our First Annual Info-Expo serving over 150 seniors with health information and services and events such as voter registration, U of L Pharmacy Student medication reviews and Counselman George Unseld to discuss community advocacy issues

We were site of the AARP Safe Driver Safety Classes

We held seminars on Living Wills, Mental Health Issues, and Medicare D Drug Coverage and much more!!
