Mission Statement
The mission of the Kling Center is to provide activities and services to help older adults maintain an active, healthy, and independent lifestyle.

Dear Friends,
One of the joys of preparing an annual report is that it gives us a chance to look back and to be thankful for all that has been accomplished. The past year was filled with both opportunities and challenges. Some highlights were:
o established a VNA Nazareth Home Care Wellness Service in May 2006

o provided Diabetes Self-Management Series with the Metro Louisville Health Department and tai chi classes through additional KIPDA funding

o hosted a press conference for Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage enrollment

o held two mini Health and Wellness Fairs

The following is an overview of the Kling Center’s income and expenses for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2006:

Total revenue and support: $188,242
Program service expenses: $162,253
Management and general expenses: $54,330
Fund raising expenses: $16,684
End of year accumulated net balance: $ (45,025)
Net assets at the end of the year $ 666,750
