Miscellaneous Giftings

Den Member Lydia Smith donated Good Bears to her big brother, Brother Micah Smith, on a recent trip to Italy. Brother Smith is a member of the Legoinaires of Christ and they will use the teddy bears in their programs with orphans in the Gozzano area. Micah is studying to become a Catholic Priest and spent the last 1 1/2 years in Italy. He took his first vows there in September 2010. Eight members of his family traveled to Italy to see the service.

The Disorderly Bear Den gifted 14 dozen teddy bears to the Allen County Sheriff's Department over the last several years. Above is Sargent Steve Stone, receiving the bears in 2008.

We donated over 100 miscellaneous teddy bears and 12 Build-a-Bear animals with new clothes to the Women's Care center in Fort Wayne.

Den members and Employees of Heritage Nursing Home in Butler, Indiana are shown holding some of the stuffed animals donated for the residents.These kids were very excited to receive brand new, dressed Build-a-Bear animals donated to them by the Disorderly Bear Den.
