Komets Teddy Bear Toss
There will be another Teddy Bear Toss at the Komet's game on Saturday, December 19, 2015. We hope you can join in the fun - bring a new or gently-used teddy bear (or 2, 3, 4, 5 or ??). Below are pictres of Cassie Crickard, our spokesbear and Goodie Bear (Chloe Rapson in the bear suit) at the Ice Arena on Monday, December 14th, on ABC TV, promoting the teddy bear toss! Goodie Bear was dancing and giving everyone a kiss and hug!
November 21, 2014 - Fort Wayne War Memorial Coliseum - The Komets Hockey Team held a Teddy Bear Toss to benefit The Disorderly Bear Den. Over 2,100 bears were tossed on the ice when the first Komets goal was scored. On December 3, 2014 team members took 40 of the teddy bears and 24 Good Bears (provided by the Den) to Fort Wayne Lutheran's Children's Hospital to give to patients!
