Taylor & Son, don't use them!
I can't tell you any good one to use but from a recent experience I can tell you not to use the above. When we had a deluge of rain one week a few months back the employee for this company went ahead and drove their tractor around in the soggy yard and ground up the sod. Not only that but there are now tractor tire marks on the concrete where we had just recently pressure cleaned. Emailing the owner did no good and they even were rude in saying, 'Don't you have anything better to do with your time?', when threatened with legal process for repair. Needless to say the whole thing has been dropped and we are also currently on the lookout for someone new to use for lawn service next year. These people also could not even handle the small amount of weeding and fertilizing we asked for. By Anonymous in North Tampa |

Melanie, did you ever find a reliable and good lawn service company? Seems there are so many now. What about a maid service? My neighbor has a maid come by and seems happy with her. Maybe I can get him to recommend her here. Paul |

Just a follow-up. Lawn services come and go. Either by their own doing or by a cheaper service. From my experience a lawn service usually gets lax and you start to complain but you don't get satisfaction so, you let them go and start all over again. This usually happens in two year cycles. If you get longer than two years you are above average and you can consider yourself lucky that you have a great service company or you have not been paying attention and only paying the monthly bill. |
