The Hammocks

Just wanted to jump in and say a big THANKS to whoever decided to put this together. My husband and I were just talking the other night about trying to "Organize the Subdivision" so we as a group could get some things done and rattle some cages with the association.

We live in a great community, and it's horrible to see some of the things that are going on with  it.   Maybe through this forum we can get stuff taken care of - or at least start to get our voices heard.

Oakwood Village

I'm hoping people continue to sign up! We do need to come together as a community to make sure things get done. Myself and David walked around yesterday and were able to hand out letters to about half of Oakwood Village. We plan to finish off the rest of the community and Brentwood Village sometime next week. Please inform any neighbors you may know about the website :).

Glad to see our work is paying off. Please inform your neighbors so that we can become more united. One of these days hopefully we can have community get togethers so we can know our neighbors, and not just be people who live in the same housing development.

Can we start by maybe getting something going in regards to the empty units and the "stuff" that's sitting outside them ??

By that I mean the delivered phone books, things on door knobs, etc.  To me, all of that sitting there is an invitiation screaming "Hey - break in- I'm empty".  If we could perhaps get a few people together to go through and take stuff off the front porches of the units we know are empty it would be a start to cleaning things up a little.
