I just received a letter from the HOA that cable will no longer be included in the monthly fees. While I agree that we should not have to pay for the empty units or those who don't pay their HOA fees, will this mean that our fees will go down? It would only make sense but then again, I wouldn't be surprised if we have to keep paying the same amount & on top of that, the full cable bill!

I truly hope that our HOA's are going to be coming down considering that the cable bill and landscaping contracts have both been reduced, in the cable case eliminated.

If our Landscaping is now only going to cover cutting the grass and thier is no more 'free' cable, internet, and security, what are we paying for?

Thier are several communites with in our area that pay what we pay a quarter for a year and thier nieghborhood looks great! I've owned my property in the Hammocks since 2006 and the nieghborhood has gotten worse every year. I will be very interested to see what they say when I attend the meeting on Thursday.

The homeowners fee went down slightly, but won't cover the cost of the loss of internet, cable tv and security monitoring.
