Thanks to Doris and Chic for a delicious Drop-In Breakfast last Saturday. So much hard work and love went into preparing for all of us. It was a wonderful memorial to our friend and neighbor, Bill McCombs.

The Ladies Lunch Group will meet at the clubhouse on Monday, September 8 at 11:00 am. Bring a salad to share. We will discuss where to go to lunch in the future. Ladies Lunch will meet the second Monday of each month at 11:00 am.

Our next Community Social will be hosted by Bill and Louise Day on October 11. It will be a low country boil dinner to be served around 5:00 or 6:00 pm. Details will follow soon.

Pine Straw – Don Miller will discuss the possibility of ordering pine straw at our next community meeting on September 22. Because the last order we received was the “long” straw in April you may not need any straw until the first of the year. However, if you have an interest in ordering straw now, please have in mind how many bales you would like to purchase when you come to the meeting. If we have enough interest and quantity, Don will handle an order for us. Thanks
