Many thanks to Shirley and Paul Hartl and their Stone Creek Drive helpers.  The Fiesta Social was great. Plenty of good food and fun.  We appreciate all of you!  Our next social will be July 11th with Linda and Don Miller and their Stone Creek Ct. helpers hosting.  The menu will be barbeque.  More details coming.

Prayer Request:  As many of you know, Jan Roberts is having back surgery today ( May 26^th).  She should be in the hospital around 5 days if all goes well.  Please keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery.  Mike will keep us informed.

Jan Roberts and the Beautification Committee have finalized all the flowers and shrub planting at the front and other islands.  We also have a large planter on the big island patio and two on the clubhouse porch.  Beautiful! Great work!!  Barb Thomson (thanks Barb) has donated two more small benches for the big island patio and we now have a cedar swing there also.  We are looking into the cost of expanding the patio a little more to accommodate all the new furniture.  Thanks to Larry Roe and Bob Carr for putting the swing together.  Job well done.

 Larry and his helpers have been busy getting the sprinkler system fixed/repaired in the first three islands.   Also, we now have electricity in the islands.   Our refrigerator at the clubhouse died so Larry got a new one from Lowe’s.  Larry, we sure thank you and anyone else who has helped keep us in such good shape.

 

Thanks to Donnie Mingis who is going to refurbish the two benches Barb Thomson donated and make them match the other benches.   He is also going to redo the worn out “No Soliciting” sign at the front entrance.  We appreciate you for all your hard work.

FYI:  Please DO NOT give out the clubhouse code to anyone.   Julia Collins reported we are still having problems with the clubhouse being left dirty after events.   Please call Julia if you see or have a problem.

PET OWNERS:  We have had some complaints about dog waste not being picked up.  If you own a pet, it is your responsibility to pick up after them.  Thanks.

VENDOR LIST:  We have an addition to our list.  It is Jan Robert’s son, Brad Atkinson of Atkinson Design Group.  Several of our residents have used him already with great success.  His phone number is 770-728-0846.  He can handle all your landscape needs.  He even did a waterfall for Barb Thomson.

Elections:   This year we have three offices up for election; president, treasurer and member at large.  If you would like to run for office this Fall please contact a board member.  We also are looking for a nominating committee chairman.  If you would like that position or would like to be on that committee please contact a board member.
