November 24, 2015        Happy Thanksgiving !!

ELECTIONS:  This year the offices of President, Treasurer and Member at Large were up for re-election.  No one volunteered for the nomination of any of the above offices so at yesterday’s community meeting, it was unanimously voted to keep the current board members in place.  We greatly appreciate ALL of our board members and the excellent work they do. 

DECEMBER BRUNCH: Our next social will be held at the clubhouse on Saturday, December 12, 10:00 am.  Bacon, sausage, hash brown casserole, scrambled eggs, biscuits, fruit, pastries, coffee and juice will be served.  Come join us for good food and fellowship.

It was announced at the community meeting that George Graham will be moving to Great Oaks in December.  We are all happy for George and wish him well.  We will miss you in the community but know you will be well taken care of.

Christmas Family:  Our Christmas Family committee announced they have a family consisting of a single father and four children and also a young boy we are going to provide for.  It was voted by the community to give the committee $550 for the recipients, and they will do the shopping for them.

Clubhouse Decorations:  Julia Collins needs helpers to help decorate the clubhouse on Sunday, November 29 starting at 11:00 am. Also, Julia reminded us that when we use the clubhouse, to please clean up and wash the tablecloths ASAP for the next group.  PLEASE TAKE HOME ALL LEFTOVERS.      Thanks
