Where I work.

The New York Botanical Garden

I work at the New York Botanical Garden. It's a beautiful place to work at. There is a Rock Garden, Rose Garden, Children Advanture, Family Garden, Cafes, Souvenir store, Conservatory, Library, and Museum. When I feel tired, I can also walk around the garden for a while. Sometimes I can even jog in the garden if i want to. It's been nice working here.

My office

My office is in the laboratory. I work as the secretary of the Graduate Studies Program in Science Department. My job as the program's secretary is very simple. I take care of the students' needs and maintain the students' database. I take are of new student enrollment; send out request information, collect applications, and process the registration. Besides that I'm also the labaratory secretary. I take care of the lab staff and make sure they have enough stationery and lab supplies, make check requisations for them to get reimburesed. Time to time I'll be sitting in for the VP's secretary when she has to take off. I also help organize big conferences.

Maternity Leave

I'm taking a maternity leave from Feb 18 to Sep 10 (6 months). My first day back to work will be Sep 12, then I'll have more to tell.
