Thistle Creek Security Awareness

Unfortunately a home on Laceleaf Lane was burglarized Friday December 6th, between 9 am ?– 1:00 pm. It?’s important to get this info to all residents to ensure this doesn?’t happen again. Several jewelry items, electronics, and Christmas gifts were stolen. Police have 1 area youth in custody, but it?’s believed this crime was committed by a group of three.
If anyone has information to assist with solving this crime, please contact Cibolo Police at 658-5321.
These actions will not be tolerated and we must work together to be the eyes and ears that will help keep Thistle Creek crime free. Below are a few ?“Do?’s?” and ?“Don?’ts?” when it comes to protecting your valuables.

?˜ If you notice suspicious activity contact 911 or police dispatch (day/night) at 658-5321. Attempt to get a good description of person, vehicle, and route traveled.

?˜ Avoid leaving keys to your home in obvious places like under the front doormat or plant holder.

?˜ Keep outside lighting on?…thieves love darkness.

?˜ If you have an alarm on your house?…USE IT!!! Alarm monitoring companies are available for as little as $21 a month.

?˜ "Always lock up". According to police three-fourths of missing items are left unattended.

?˜ Lock your yard gates.
