Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA-San Antonio)

Who is VITA San Antonio?

VITA volunteers provide free income tax assistance to taxpayers, and help them claim important tax credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit.

During the 2012/2011 tax filing season, VITA volunteers operated 23 VITA sites located throughout San Antonio and completed more than 35,000 tax returns. Over $60,000,000 (sixty million dollars) was refunded to the individals and families that waited in the long lines for an opportunity to be helped with this great service.

VITA is available for individuals and families earning $60,000 a year or less!
