Seems like we need to put a little heat on Ryland to get this playground built. Anyone want to join me in contacting Ryland or perhaps our Prop. Manager Nick???

Yes count us in!!!

We feel someway betrayed, as the playground amenities in Oakleaf Hammock was a BIG SELLING POINT for us. After we purchased RYLAND home, now we're learning all the excuses and delays why RYLAND can't deliver. It doesn't even sound that RYLAND will start anytime soon, maybe beginning of next year. There is also rumor that RYLAND was planning to scale down the planned Playground amenities!!!

If you look around other communities, the builder?’s priority most of the time was playground & facilities first, then the homes, exe: River Plantation, Sonoma, etc...

Most of the excuses we hear, are that the playground needs power, running water, etc... I don't think many of us with kids plan to go there when is dark so we could get by without lights and without grass (do to watering). RYLAND cuts a lot of trees and creates free ''mulch/tree bark'' that could be perfect for playground. The playground structure, fence with gate and some ''mulch\tree bark'', it would keep us happy till the BIG PLAYGROUND OPENING arrives.

We all know that RYLAND doesn't sell homes as quick as they planned for. Do to the slowdown you'd think they would come out with plan ''B'' and allocate temporary one of the large lots and set the promised playground structure for now, until RYLAND can build the one that was planned.

You'd think, ''Temporary Playground Set'' + ''Caring Builder'' + ''Happy Neighborhood'' will bring more sales... What's your opinion???

We talked to one of the sales persons at the sales office back on June regarding the playground. Her answer was not what we were expecting. however, I would like to discuss with you all how we can make Ryland to accelerate their plans in building the playground.
