Timrod Park
Timrod Park borders our neighborhood to the south on Timrod Park Drive. The park and neighborhood pay tribute to the Poet Laureate of the Confederacy, Henry Timrod. The small one-room house in which he taught is located on the grounds of the park. The park features 14 lighted tennis courts, walking trails, gardens, gazebo, a playground and covered picnic area.
