President Phil DiBlasi called meeting to order @ 7:11 pm
Minutes of Last Meeting- Meeting minutes accepted, all in favor of accepting minutes.
Treasurer?’s Report: Phil reported that Helga Ulrich has resigned. Jodi Bessinger is acting as stand-in Treasurer. Phil asked for nominations for Treasurer. It was recommended from the floor that we ask for nominations for the next meeting. Motion second and accepted.
TTNA officers elected to decrease the membership fee from $20.00 to $10.00 for family and individual and $25.00 for businesses. Those individuals who have already paid their dues, can receive extra year credit, refund or make a donation to TTNA.
Please send your dues to temporary Treasurer - Jodi Bessinger.

* Crime & Safety ?– Helga Ulrich- Not here to give report
* ZALU ?– Aaron Jent- Stuck in Pittsburg -Snow- Not here to give report
* OLNC ?– Aaron Jent- Stuck in Pittsburg-Snow-Not here to give report
* Toonerville Park : Jodi, Irene and Aaron will head the committee to beautify the park on the corner of Oak and Brook Streets.
* Fundraising Committee: Aaron will head the committee. Please see him if you want to participate. Some discussion occurred about having the TTNA booth at the St. James Festival. Phil reported that officers recommended TTNA take on T-shirts as a fundraiser for St. James. Also, considering looking at pictures of TTNA scenes to be printed on postcards. Need to consider copyrights. Recommended that logos be consistent. Phil to talk to people at UofL photo archives for postcards.
* Fundraising subcommittee ?– Dennis Lisack Dennis reported on post and/or note card ideas w/ TTNA logo on them. Dennis is still looking for a logo he remembers seeing ?– several years ago at a meeting. Dennis shared various logo copies with group. Dennis is thinking that members of the Filson club can gain access about Toonerville art work available. Ken Hayden needs to be found because he may be the original designer of the logo. Dennis reported that we would have to have permission from the Old Louisville Visitor?’s Center to sell things there. Discussed that we should also consider downtown stores. Dale Tucker stating that he may also have some art work. Dale will send those to Dennis.
* Trees ?– Nancy Woodcock or Irene Spencer- Not present, no report.
New Business:
Ken Herndon reported that a trash can has been hit at Floyd and Ormsby and Second St. has ordered tin cans and Ken will be taking care of this.
Dennis wanted to know if TTNA should be taking a broader issue regarding other organizations/associations voting to ?“go dry?”. TTNA has taken the position that we are not going to advocate to ?“go dry?”. Discussed broader issues of how to bring in better businesses and how to clean-up the 4th and Oak Street corridor. Discussed using methods of patronizing businesses that we support and who are supporting us, hiring police officers to stand outside liquor stores, etc.
