The John C. Lincoln North Mountain Health Auxiliary sponsors a program called PhoneLinc. This a telephone assurance program aimed at helping people live a more independent life style at home.
It is free to all participants and requires a minimum of effort on their part. It works like this: You call in each morning between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM. (You may call earlier and leave a message on the answering machine)
If you do not call in, a volunteer will call to see if you are okay. If not they will call a person(s) you have designated, who has a key to your home and can check on your well being.
