New homeowners are currently being welcomed to the neighborhood with homeowners?’ information and a ?“welcome package?”. This was started for those who moved into the neighborhood in October and will be continued once a month as houses sell.
We are also starting a ?“Yard of the Month?” program as soon as we can get a sign, as we want to say ?“Thanks?” to residents that work to keep their properties nice. Watch for the first winner.
The Halloween Costume Contest went off very well and CONGRATULATIONS to the many well mannered and well costumed contestants. We awarded 5 gift cards and 6 prize bags to the top 11 entrants and smaller prizes to everyone entering. Again, Congratulations and Thanks to Your Children for arriving on time and being wonderfully cooperative. Additional Thanks to the parents who helped with this event.
On a sour note, there have been several acts of vandalism recently. That I know of; one truck was ?“keyed?” while parked in the owner?’s driveway, one resident reported gasoline thefts from their car parked in the driveway, and several tires were cut on cars parked on Lake Path during a Halloween party. Please be watchful and park in your garage if at all possible.
ASSOCIATION DIRECTORS NEEDED: If you would like to serve on the Association Board of Directors, please notify our management company. Two positions will be open at our next annual meeting (February 2008).
