Here we go again!!  My Wife and I were coming back from work at approx. 22:15 when a small sports car came behind us at approx 45 to 50 mph on Nacgodches Rd just before Wayward Dr. cut in front of us by inches turned onto Warward Dr. and procedded and stopped just in front of the open gates.  The sports car had no rear lights and went thru the gates (Just wonder who hits the gates when they were closed??).  We then turned on Wayward Dr. and went to the open gates.  Then another SUV came behind us, passed us at approx 35 to 40 mph and chased after the sports car with no rear lights.  Guess where both cars turned?? Lake Sunset Ct.  Went to the circle and stopped in front of the famous house.  I went to my home, and went to the famous house and told the incident to the Father and Mother who were standing outside.  The Father related that there was a reason for the situation.  The SUV was following the sports car because it did not have rear lights.  I guess they never of heard of why they put flashing four blinkers on cars??  Do we really need parents that make up excuses for their kids that live in our neighbourhood??  I called SAPD, but they said they could not do a report.  I hope this is the first time that the cameras can be used for good use. 

This might be a good example for having camera's. When reckless drivers come in-&-out, we will have visual proof and can turn that over to SAPD to start a case file. If also, one of the vehicles damaged the gate - we'll have a record of it.  :-)

How could the gates be damaged if they are never closed in the first place. It was 10pm last night and both entry and exit gates were open to all. Shouldn't we fix the gates first before spending money unwisely.

AMEN! Why is it the gates are now ALWAYS open.  I remember them closed for a very short time, then open all day/night.  Closed again...wait now they are open. Closed/open...see the pattern? No worky, refund my hoa dues then!
