PASADENA - Despite its withering assets, Persson's Nursery is not necessarily ready to lay down and die.
Not just yet.
After three years of fighting, nursery manager Gary Butters, husband of Linda Persson, said he would be willing to consider landowner Southern California Edison's offer to move their business across the street if someone would guarantee him the $250,000 he says is needed to make the move.
