Any of the major federal holidays (New Year, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas - just these six) causes trash pickup to be delayed by one day. So, our normal Thursday pickup will then occur on Friday for that week, and you can keep the green buckets off the streets until pickup day.

If in doubt about a pickup, perhaps due to bad weather, call the customer service number and listen to recorded messages.

Also, if you require a dumpster for home remodeling, erecting approved structures, or other projects, just call WM customer service, and they will arrange it. The fee is quite reasonable, and saves a lot of haulage effort. A good size industrial type dumpster will cost about $50 for a few weeks. Your tradesmen and neighbors will thank you for it!
