I have live in RP since 1993. I'm very serious when I say that I have been bitten by mosquitos no more than 5 times the whole 10 years I've been here. Over the last three weeks I have seen dozens of them and been bitten 6-7 times. Nothing has changed about my lifestyle, so I am wondering if: 1) is it a area wide phenomena of mosq plague, or 2) is something new at RP that is increasing the population? Just wondering with Nile virus, et al.

Mucho mosquitos?

I assumed the mosquitos were from all the rain we had at the begining of the month?
