This messgae is from CIRCLE C (Bradley Dev.), I am unaware of why the change was made:

ATTENTION HOMEOWNERS:
Effective October 3rd, Circle C's solid waste and recycling service will be switched to BFI.?  All residents will receive new containers by September 30th.?  Billing will be on a quarterly basis and the first billing period will cover October, November & December.?  Everyone in Circle C will be on a Monday/Thursday pick up schedule with a Monday recycling pick up.

Beginning September 23rd, Longhorn Disposal (Waste Management) will begin picking up their old containers and recycling bins. Be sure to have both containers out on your normal trash pick up days. Once your containers have been picked up, WM will continue to pick up trash (in bags)?  on your designated day until the new service begins.

less expensive trash company

This email was in response to my ''why are we changing trash companies?'':

The Board Members of the HOA formed a ''trash'' committee over a year ago to review our current contract situation with Longhorn (Waste Management) because our contract was going to expire. After bidding out for new service, the board chose BFI mainly because they are a reputable company with great references and because they were less expensive than Longhorn.

WM to BFI trash service

I just called BFI to let them know I have not received a trash can yet. The customer service rep did not even want to know my address to verify that the delivery would take place. He just said that they would be out there today.

OH, they sure were PROMPT at sending
the bill in the mail, though! I think
I should wait to pay it till I see some
services.

Is anyone else tired of dragging trash bags back and forth between the curb and their garage yet? I surely hope all this is sorted out this week.

BFI delivered *some* trash cans to the cul de sac on Dalea Vista Ct today.
They missed my house, though. I called BFI customer non-service again today.
At least they took my name this time and said they would get me a trash can and a recycle can today or tomorrow.

of the BFI Supervisior, you can post
it here for all the people that got skipped in the can delivery so far.

Oh, I can tell this service is going
to be a LOT better already!
