I'm relieved the Lattice will be taken down from the Phase 2 PW gates.

I'm unhappy that it's NOT DOWN YET.

Why leave it up for a few weeks, a few days, or even a few hours? Why does everyone in the neighborhood need to see this eyesore everytime we enter or exit the gates?

It's been up for too many weeks as it is.

The Architectural Control Committee who ''met'' with our new neighbors is Susan Hoover. The person who will make all the Landscape alterations and profit from the irrigation, drainage improvements, location and costs of appropriate sized shrubbery, and installation of a raised bed is Susan Hoover.

Not only will she make a profit off the above changes (that she approves)...but when this neighbor or anyone else in Circle C submits a plan to the Architectural Control Committee for approval, they need to pay a fee to the CCHOA for the review and inspection professional (usually the HOA hires an architect). In this case it's...yes, you guessed it...Susan Hoover. She keeps 85% of all fees paid to CCHOA for any new plans throughout Circle C.

What kind of ''Raised bed'' will be planned for the Shrubs? I guess if Susan Hoover...(the Architectural Control Committee, Landscape Company & the Review and Inspection Services person says it's OK...)

Why did Susan Hoover ignore the recommendations of the Park West Landscape Committee and plant the Magnolia in the front of the new neighbors yards? The Magnolia is not on the PW list of approved trees for the front landscaping. If the tree does not make it, PW might need to pay the bill. What does Susan Hoover care?

She did profit from ignoring the recommendations of the Park West Landscape Committee and the PW HOA Board.

Anyone else see a number of conflicts of interest? We all live in Hooverville!

CCHOA,

The lattice at phase 2 gates is against the CCHOA deeds and restrictions. Why is it still up? I understand that it will be taken down sometime...but why not today? Why wasn't it taken down weeks ago? Many of my neighbors are angry about this gross violation of the deeds and restrictions, and reminded of it daily as we enter/exit ParkWest.

Thank You,
Sal Costello

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the lattice that was installed at the Park West 2nd Entrance. The Architectural Control Committee of the CCHOA has met with the homeowners and arrived at a solution that will provide them with the privacy they need while preserving the integrity of the Park West Entrance as it was originally designed.

The lattice will be removed from the fence, and the interior of the wrought iron will be planted with evergreen shrubs. The improvements will take place in the near future, however they involve relocation of irrigation, drainage improvements, location of appropriate sized shrubbery, and installation of a raised bed. We anticipate that all will be finished within the next two-three weeks.

Thank you, CCHOA

CCHOA,
My questions are:

Why is the lattice still up?

I understand that it will be taken down sometime...
but why are the homeowners not required to take it down today?

Sal,

The Circle C Homeowners Association and the Architectural Control Committee have worked with the homeowner on this issue and constructed a reasonable timeline and as such, that timeline will be followed as explained in our prior email to you.

hhmmmmm

Since Susan Hoover is involved in everypart of the process (CCHOA Management company, CCHOA Review & Inspection services, CCHOA Architectural control, CCHOA Landscape company)...could it be her profits from installation of the new expensive landscaping at this residence has something to do with the poor negotiations of the lattice eyesore being up longer than needed?
