The question and answer in the newsletter (back page and at circlecranch.com) reads like this:

''Has the CCHOA endorsed the HEB? At this time the CCHOA Board of Directors is gathering input from residents and awaiting further information including more developed plans, landscape plans and street and roadway plans, pad site plans, park and trail plans and all other items that affect the site.''

Is that an answer to the question? This implies they have not decided. It implies the BOD is gathering input. Read this email from Ken Rigsbee to a resident last week 10/25/03:

''The CCHoA Board has likely not formally published a position.?  However, I support the HEB project.?  I spoke with Jim O'Reilly who also supports the project.?  I believe Steve Bartlett also supports the project.?  That, I believe, constitutes the CCHoA Board whether formal or not.

We published the proposed project in the Newsletter which was distributed door-to-door.?  We have been selectively polling homeowners, particularly those closest to the proposed project, for their opinions.? 

I think it is fair statement that we are still gathering information.?  There are ''Architectural Control'' matters that must be worked out with Stratus and HEB before final approval is given.?  We still must assure that the Escarpment extension is consistent with that portion in Circle C - not the ''freeway'' that exists in Western Oaks.?  Believe that is specified in the Settlement Agreement.? ? ?

It's no surprise that they support HEB, it appears as though at least one of them has a financial connection to it. They have refused to join a community wide HEB/Stratus meeting with Western Oaks HOA. We all deserve to ask questions. I want to make sure that the HEB has a lot of character (no box form), and is NOT too large. I'd say nothing over 60,000 ft. It's currently planned for 93,000 sq ft.

But, we need a CCHOA town hall style meeting with HEB & Stratus to get answers and to be heard.

Why do you always insist on causing trouble? I really don't understand why you go out of your way to disagree with everything that is good for our community and that CHOA supports. You say you are not trying to run for a board position. Is this for real?

You disagreed with supporting Will Wynn as Mayor, with CHOA Board decision to hold an Annual CHOA meeting, with CHOA Board decision not holding the Annual CHOA meeting, with CHOA Board holding meetings in the mornings, with CHOA Board changing their meeting times, with Anti-Law Suit Abuse proposition, with Escarpment going through, etc. etc. etc.

Having an HEB in our community with a park, etc. will be a great addition for us. We could actually ride bikes, or walk to the grocery store.

HEB is committed to build environmentally safe for the area. Look at the HEB at William Cannon and Brodie. That is a good example. They save rain water, have landscaped natively, etc.

Now let me see. What would I rather have in our neighborhood? A park and grocery store that I could walk to as opposed to driving my car to another store, or a bunch of Apartments that have people driving cars, going and coming at the same time as we all do, getting into the traffic gridlock that already exists?

I think the answer is obvious...

I appreciate your courage in posting your name, it shows your wholehearted commitment to your words.

Can you read? I've stated a number of times on this discussion board that I am NOT against HEB. I want a community meeting so we can all hear more about it. I would prefer a Whole Foods Market or something more upscale, but I wouldn't mind a HEB, IF it's not too big. Presently, I've heard it's over 93,000 sq ft. To me thats way too big.

The question from the BOD is loaded. It's a con. ''Would you rather have apartments of a HEB?''...it's like, ''Would you like a kick in the head, or a PB&J?''

If the BOD was run by residents and there were not conflicts of interests, I would trust the BOD to represent me, and you wouldn't hear from me.

Why is the BOD not having a community meeting? What are they hiding? Why are they paving the way for HEB? If you or anyone else wants proof of the conflicts in our CCHOA, email me at imacsal@aol.com and I'll send you a PDF of proof, no questions asked.

You mention a park in your post, that's the first I've heard of it...is it the size of my backyard? How big is it? If the BOD really wants feedback, WE NEED A MEETING.
