Should Susan Hoover charge us $55 per hour for the services that was supposed to be rendered by the Board members themselves?

CCHOA Settlement Agreement
Deed Restrictions
Board Communications
Events Planning

I must emphasize that all of the above are part of the Board?’s voluntary responsibilities.

According to our Bylaws, Page 2, and Section 4 COMPENSATION ?– No director shall receive compensation for any service he may render to the Association. However, any director may be reimbursed for his actual expenses incurred in the performance of his duties.

S. Hoover is only a foot soldier

I want all of you to know that Susan Hoover is only a foot soldier in this whole con game. Maybe Gary Bradley is the boss, but Steve Bartlett is the architect. Just because Susan Hoover has charged us $55 per hour for the Board?’s voluntary duties, it does not mean she herself had pocketed all those money. Susan Hoover had charged us on behalf of a company called Castle Realty Management. And the checks were deposited into Alien Inc.?’s account. The owner of the Alien, Inc. was Gary Bradley and the president of Alien, Inc. was Steve Bartlett.

Since we, homeowners, have no legal right to audit Alien, Inc.?’s books, we just have to wait for the civil lawsuit if there will be one or wait for the criminal investigation by the District Attorney and Uncle Sam. So, be patient. The best is yet to come.

NOTE:
Alien, Inc. was sold or dissolved at the end of 2001 or early of 2002.
