Does anyone know why the helicopter was hovering and police cars driving thru our neighborhood today? 

Probably because of this...

Friday, there was an older green Mazda 626 seen with 3 black males, they kicked in a front door on Sabinas and took their tv before they were seen and chased.  The license number is 118NZJ.  If you see this car in our neighborhood, please call 911.  They were originally parked in front of a house on Tyne Trail 2 doors down from our house when they were first noticed then followed to see what they were up to.  That's how they were seen taking the TV.  In the amount of time it took to start a car and follow them, they had already kicked in the front door of a house and was taking stuff.  A glass storm door may help deter this because it's more trouble to kick in a door when you have a glass storm door.   The police were called and it seems that these guys have hit our neighborhood really hard lately.  If they will do this at noon, then they really don't care who is inside the house.  It may be a good idea not to let your kids walk home and go inside alone.    These emails helped catch the last creep that was stealing from our neighborhood, so maybe we can pass the word to catch this one as well.    

Let's hope they caught the creeps going around busting down doors and stealing things!!
