Not interested.  I've been with monitronics for many years and happy with their service.  I've contacted them to send me new signs so these salesmen will quit coming to my door.

Besides, I still wouldnt do business with Pinnacle.  They have many many complaints against them with the better business bureau.  My monitoring system works just fine and is only a few years old as it had been recently upgraded.

There is always a catch, nothing is truly "FREE", there's always fine print.  Expect to pay anywhere from 30-40 a month, but the first time you have an emergency or break-in at home, it's well worth it.  I've had ADT since I moved in, and very happy with the service.

Another tip I can think of:  Even if you don't have a security system currently, but you do have a security sign (ADT, Brinks, etc), keep it out front of your home.  It *can* act as a deterrent to a criminal thinking of breaking into your home, and will give you a ready excuse to a dude like this Pinnacle character:  "I already have a security monitoring service, it's serviced by (that company; eg ADT, etc) & I'm happy with their service.  I have no problems with it, please leave my property immediately."  Be firm with telling them to leave, if they keep saying typical telemarketer crap like "but I can save you $$", or "you will have a much better system, etc", just respond with "Leave my property now", any further response from you should include "I will call the police if you do not leave now."  The last 2 will generally give them a clue that you're too smart for them or they waste their time & will not get a sale from you.

I had a visit from one of the sales reps Saturday.   He told me I had an old ADT sign out front and a new one.  He was very nice, but I'm happy with ADT.

I had the old sign out front for years, but when the burgular came to my front door last December, I got my system activated immediately!  The signs CAN work as a deterrent, but not always!  Lucky enough, the same old creeps did not come back for a second try! Packed and loaded if they do...
