The Tucson Police Department is again proud to support
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT!
Tuesday, August 1st, 6:30?–9:30 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to spend the evening outdoors enjoying the company of their neighbors and meeting new people on the block.
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to:
Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs;
Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships; and
Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Whether you plan a potluck, a neighborhood parade, or simply an after-dinner get-together for coffee and dessert, show your commitment to a safe neighborhood for you and your family by participating in NATIONAL NIGHT OUT!
Members of the Tucson Police Department want to join you at your event. Contact us with details by Thursday, July 27th, and we?’ll make every effort to stop by and visit with you and your neighbors.
