What is our most important issue

Posted in: Midvale Park
This is an increadable time in Midvale Park! We have home owners viing for positions on the board of our HOA. We have volenteers taking surveys, writing grants, and trying to get lights on Midvale Park Road. A new park is being built. Dozens of business are trying to move into the area including high quality movie theaters, major department stores, and popular restaurants. Home values are skyrocketing. TUSD has made improvements on White Elementary and is planning big improvements at Grijalva Elementary. Grijalva also has new energy with the strong leadership and added kindergarden classes.

We have many challenges too! Our HOA is underfunded due to delinquencies. We have weeds in our yards and in our common areas. We have a growing language barrier. We are considered a stressed neighborhood based on our income levels, number of one parent house holds, education, and other census information. We have pot holes. We need places for children to play. We have gangs. We have to many cars.

What is most important? What do we do about it? How are you willing to help?
