During the summer the TVOCA (Turf Valley Overlook Community Association) elected a new Board of Officers. Together, this group has begun to address the issues affecting our community. Some of the issues discussed include traffic sagety, on-street parking, wooded trails and pet owner responsibilities. A community website, newletter and neighborhood fliers are all being developed as a means to provide you with accurate and timely information on these and other issues.

This newsletter is to update everyone on Turf Valley Overlook Community Association's (TVOCA) community events for the Fall/Winter season. As you will see, there are many wonderful programs created for all members of our community. We hope you will join us for our annual Halloween Parade, community-wide liminary display, Santa's visit, Holiday caroling and a winter wonderland of indoor activities fro our children. One of the things that makes Turf Valley Overlook such a beautiful place tolieve is displayed in the level of pride and commitment among homeowners to keep their landscapes gorgeous. Several ideas have been suggested to help encourage a continued commitment to beautifying our community. These include sping and fall clean-up, community-wide yard sales and yard/garden competitions. If anyone has any other ideas, please let us know.

TVOCA is your community association and therefore, we need your help to make it work. TVOCA represents about 280 families. Just imagine how much we could accomplish if everyone helps out just a little. Get involved. Many hands make light work! In addition to your time the TVOCA needs your financial support to help defray the cost of maintenance and the many events that help keep Turf Valley Overlook the special community that it is. We are asking each household to contribute $75/year for our Association dues. All dues money collected will to towards beautifying our front entrance, maintaining our common grounds and funding our community events programs. In addition se are in the process of updating our TVOCA community directory. Please show your communtiy support by contributing your dues money in October. Dues may be mailed to Kathleen Engelbach at 3012 Ponte Vedra Court, Ellicott City, MD 21042. Please include your name and family member names (if you wish), address, telephone and email address (optional). Also let us know if you don't want this information published in the directory.
