Turtle Creek Village News Bulletin June 1999

Jun 27, 1999

Dear Homeowners,

I pray for peace and blessings upon you and your families. I hope that all mothers had a wonderful Mother's Day. We also honor all of the Veterans for making the ultimate sacrifice and contribution for our freedom in this great Country, both male and female. Congratulations to all of the youth of our community in your promotions to the next grade and to the Class of '"99" Graduates. Father's Day is near and Happy Father's Day to all of you dads out there.
Homeowner or renters, if you live in this community you are a part of the Turtle Creek Village Family. I don't know if you realize it or not, but we have something very special out here. A friendly, peaceful, beautiful, middle class neighborhood where the majority of us work very diligently to maintain our property. I thank and congratulate you for maintaining those high standards with hard work, prayer, telephone calls, etc.
I don't find pleasure in asking for money but have you mailed in your annual $25 Home Owner dues this year? Well, its not too late, even though we ask that you do that before May 1st. You can mail your check to our treasurer Merita Washington, 11419 Swordfish Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
Through Neighborhood Link we have a web site
www.neighborhoodlink.com/Itcreek. Information is updated frequently when available. There will be a Neighborhood Night Out cook out at my house on August 3,1999.
starting at 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Bring a lawn chair, there will be food, fun and games. Address 1072 Lobster Lane.
Were you there? Through the Neighborhood Services Division, thanks to Mrs. Glory Dixon (Neighborhood Coordinator), Channel 12 News did a weather broadcast and barbecue in our neighborhood on May 14th in my backyard. Tim Deegan, Chef Robert and Laura and the crew were very friendly. A good time was had by all.
In the way of news, there will be a new Police Sub-Station in our community located next to the Winn-Dixie in Highlands Shopping Center soon. The next (CPAC) meeting will take place on July 14th 1999 at FCCJ North Campus. in the Administration building from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Congratulations to the Yard of the Month recipients. Our last Homeowner's meeting of the year will be on October 9,1999 at 1:45 pm to 3:00 at the Highlands Library; next meeting is Saturday June 12~ 1999 at Highlands Branch Library from 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
We solicit your help neighbor's on the Hart's Road dean up. Thank you in advance for you help.

Sincerely Yours,
Kenneth Moore
