Neighbors reported that the juvenile delinquent activity had decreased significantly. They reported feeling much safer.
Lights, J. Rodrick:
No updates to report.
Broward Beautiful Grant, T. Surinak:
The City of Oakland Park has paid for the two water meters to be installed. T. Surinak is meeting a City of Fort Lauderdale water representative on April 20th to show him where the water meters need to be installed.
The TLS grant application received the highest score out of all of the grants submitted for the 2006-2007 grant cycle. In fact, it is being used as the example for the 2007-2008 grant cycle. We are so proud of TLS!!!!
44th Street Connector:
Chet Summer, a TLS neighbor, had indicated that he would be interested in representing TLS during the phone conference last week, however the phone conference took place during his working hours. Anne Sallee is the president of South Royal Palm Acres Neighborhood Organization and has been organizing all of the informational events regarding this issue.
