Lights

Light information 6/3/08

Currently, there is no agreement with FPL for installation of lights in TLS. However, the Annexation ILA Agreement assures lights for our neighborhood. The City of Oakland Park will pay for the installation of the lights and the cost of electricity. The lights to be installed at no cost are Cobra-style lights, powered by an overhead wire. Lights installed on private property will need the permission of the property owner. The City of OP has proposed installing 44 lights, one every 300 feet. However, residents may opt for less lighting and at further distances.
