We live at 31 Grand Canyon.
About 20 minutes ago we heard dogs howling and rushed outside; I thought a dog had been badly hurt. 3 fairly large dogs had a cat (a sad Katrina orphan which we have been caring for)in its mouth and was trying to drag it away. I was alarmed since I didn't want to get myself in the middle of the dogs. I was able to chase them away and they let the cat go. We looked for the cat but he has scurried away.
Everyone, be careful of your pets and children. These dogs were not easily convinced to drop the cat and leave.
