Flooding has been long been viewed as a messy but unavoidable nuisance in Chicago, but the Center for Neighborhood technology believes that flooding has an impact beyond the moment it occurs, causing economic loss and emotional stress. We are starting a new project looking at the social impacts of basement flooding.
