June 30, 2004: Landscapes for your historic home. Meredith Bromfield, Landscape Architect and Congress Park resident, will give a historical overview of the changes in use of the outdoor spaces around a home over the past century. Moving forward to 2004, he will show ways to refresh the often overgrown and tired landscapes of older houses to make them fresh, water wise, appropriate to your historic home, yet suitable for a modern family's lifestyle. He invites all attendees to bring their questions and specific landscape problems (pictures are welcome if you have them) to the lecture for a question and answer session. The more questions and livelier the debate, the more informative and enjoyable this lecture will be.
