T-REX Closures 12-17-04

Here is a list of various T-REX activities scheduled for the next two weeks----
* Crews will be working along the east side of I-25 between Logan and University removing pavement and doing drainage and wall work.
* Jan 7 -10 - Currently the traffic switch on Colorado Boulevard is scheduled for this weekend. The Colorado Blvd off-ramp from NB I-25 will be closed for the weekend to pave the connections between the new bridge and the old bridge.
* Jan 8-17 - Currently, the NB Colorado Blvd to NB I-25 left turn movement will be closed for a week to pave the connections between the new bridge and the old bridge.
* Jan 10 - With the traffic shift on Colorado Blvd, the loop ramp from Colorado Blvd to SB I-25 will close. Motorists will use a temporary ramp on the east side of Colorado Blvd. NB Colorado Blvd motorists accessing SB I-25 will turn RIGHT and SB Colorado Blvd motorists accessing SB I-25 will turn LEFT.
* Jan 18-20 - Currently the demolition of the west portion of the Colorado Blvd Bridge is scheduled for these nights beginning at 9 pm. There will be a full closure of I-25 for this work.
* Dec 20 - The Evans Ave on-ramp to SB I-25 will open.
* Dec 20 - The Evans Ave off-ramp from NB I-25 will open to its final configuration and traffic will move from the temporary ramp on Dahlia. The Frontage Rd will remain closed, as there is more work in that area to do.
* There will be soundwall work along SB I-25 between Evans and Yale.
* Week of Dec 20 & 27 - There may be lane closures at night in both directions on I-25 under the Hampden Ave Bridge while crews work on the center pier and abutments for the new Hampden Bridge.
* Dec 19 & 20 - Currently, a full closure of I-25 beginning at 9 pm to erect the girders for the new Hampden Ave Bridge is scheduled. The closures will be from Hampden to Santa Fe.
* Construction on soundwalls along SB I-225, on NB I-25 from Hampden to the Highline Canal, and on SB I-25 from Hampden to Quincy is continuing.
* Dec. 21 - The SB I-225 to SB I-25 ramp/tunnel will be closed from 11 pm until 5:30 am Wednesday morning to work on the light rail bridges over the ramp.
* There will be frequent closures on the ramps and the arterials at Arapahoe Rd and Dry Creek Rd as crews work on the landscape walls.
* There will be frequent lane restrictions on 470 under I-25 for crews to work on the light rail bridge in the interchange.
* When the weather is dry and a little warmer, crews will continue working on freshening the lane striping up and down the corridor.

T-REX Colorado Blvd Shift and Demo

Good News---The Evans Ave on-ramp to SB I-25 will open Monday morning Dec 20.

The traffic shift and demolition of the Colorado Bridge are schedule to occur as follows:
