UP residents can request ADA (American Disabilities Association) sidewalk
ramps for their block's sidewalks. You may have seen the reddish
curbcuts at Iliff, Wesley, and Harvard for example.
The city's longterm plan is to put them everywhere, but in the meantime citizens with a valid disability receive priority. Currently, it is not enough that a mom wants the ramps for strollers.
Citizens can call the request hotline at 720-913-8491 stating the
location of ramps desired and why that location's ramps should have
priority.
