I have lived in 14th and Washington since 1998. Parking has always been a challenge as I did not purchase my unit in time to obtain a parking space. Therefore, I rely 100% on street parking along Pearl, Washington and Clarkson when I come home from working 10 hours or late in the evening after muscic practice, especially now that parking at a metter between 2:00 Am and 6:00 AM will get your car towed..
My question is twofold: First, who originated the idea that Scotch-taping paper signs on metal parking sings on the street would be a good idea? On these signs, the wind tore up most of the information other than "Unsinkables," " $50 fine," and "street sweeping..." The rest of the information is gone and I would like to know if The Unsinkables manage all of your orginizational affairs in this careless and dubious manner?
Second, is it not the responsibility of the City of Denver to post PROPER SINEAGE relation to the street sweepin schedule? Yes? Then why are you posting signs that the environment renders illedgible??
The City of Denver is, by all appearances, a poorly-managed, cash-hungry entity bent on preying on hard-working citizens in the form of fines, penalties and parking tickets. Why on Earth would the Unsinkables desire to ast as the lap dogs of of such a useless beaurocracy??
I get the feeling that someone would be well-served to find a creative hobby or some purposeful activity for themselves.
