My wife Cheryl and I have been residents at 26 Reid Street, diagonally across from the Greenhouse, for over twenty years. Recently my son became my next door neighbor purchasing the house at 16 Reid Street. Sad to say, we have watched the condition of the park and area decline. If Fulton is the "Crown Jewel" of our park system, that surely isn't saying much. Additionally, too many vacant houses without owners to maintain them creates additional eyesores. We love this area and are committed to stay. We certainly applaud those who are organizing this group and pledge our full support. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make the March 18th meeting. We will do our best to attend future meetings.
